The Rally is on Saturday 23rd, Sunday 24th May & Bank Holiday Monday 25th May 09

Launceston Steam & Vintage Engine Rally is traditionally held every year over the Spring Bank Holiday. This coming year is no exception, it will be held on Saturday 23rd, Sunday 24th & Monday 25th May 2009.

This next Rally will be  the 27th time we have held the event since it’s inaugural staging at Polson Bridge in 1983.

In each year since, the Launceston Steam & Vintage Engine Rally has grown & developed to be more than just a ‘a Steam Rally’. It is now very much a fun day with numerous attractions for the whole family.

In 2009, the rally moves to a new site at Trebant Farm, Altarnun, to the west of Launceston. This represents exciting & challenging times for the organising committee after 26 years of holding the rally at Launceston RFC. It is hoped that the new site will provide more space for our popular rally.
