Launceston Steam

& Vintage Engine Rally

About the Rally

The Rally started nearly 26 years ago as a means to raise funds for Launceston RFC. Over the years it has proved to be a great success as a fund raising event, donating over £140,000 to the rugby club. In the process, the Rally has grown & developed to be a quality fun event for the whole family. The Rally is organised by a dedicated committee of volunteers as a sub-committee of Launceston RFC. In recent years, a percentage of the profits have been donated to local charities.

Launceston RFC have also gone from strength to strength, with their 1st XV (the Cornish All Blacks) rising to be in National League Division One. The club now runs 4 senior sides & a thriving Mini/Junior section where over 240 local children are members. For details of Launceston RFC, see their web-site via the link in the Links page.
